Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Can anything good come out of Nigeria? Both of these countries have come up with costly pearls that have impacted the world positively. Nazareth has produced the world’s redeemer, in the person of Jesus Christ. Nigeria have produced Africa and world’s giant in the likes of Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, and Nnamdi Azikiwe just to mention a few. Hearing the name Nigeria it quickly brings to mind the images of corruption -money laundry, fake politicians, and attitudinal rot - nevertheless not all the eggs in Nigeria crate are rotten.

It is said that bad news travels faster than good news this largely accounts for Nigeria dented image around the world, simply because we fail to tell our good stories to the world… it’s obvious that most Nigerians have lost faith in the Nigeria project. Nevertheless, in every fields of human endeavors great Nigerians have continue to distinguished themselves as patriotic citizens by following the part of dutifulness and honesty.

One of such Nigerian is Soga Oseni a sector head Drivers License Centre of Federal Road Safety Commission. His patriotic approach towards discharging his responsibility has put a lot of smiles in motorist faces; this has made a lot of Nigerians to describe him as an agent of positive change in Nigeria. He keeps receiving worthy commendations in the course of discharging his duties to Nigerians. ’’ We are particularly excited that such a passionate man (on his job) still exists. We are proud of him and full of hopes for Nigeria thank you Mr. Oseni and your team! Keep up the excellent spirit, you are going places!!!” very worthy Commendations about this rare gem from Funmi Arasher and Julienner Afolabi.

Like a river that never stop to flow Oseni commitment to duty has been consistent hence the continuous outpouring of encomiums as a foreigner Asa from America residing in Abuja has this to say about this patriotic Nigeria when she apply for the collection of a driver’s license and effective delivery of a road safety sensitization lecture ‘’ very efficient! I got through more quickly than I have in the United States. Excellent lectures as well’’ The Ojiji family whose path cross this noble Nigeria also could not hide their profound feelings…”Especially the chief superintendent who delivered the lectures and co- ordinated the exercise , I sincerely recommend him and his team for greater height.” These and many more are the showers of encomiums on this worthy Ambassador of the road safety commission. The patriotism of Mr. Oseni is just a fraction of the many good eggs which exist uncelebrated in Nigeria. Oseni is a man that knows his onions. He has put structure in place at the driver license unit that ensure things runs smoothly, unlike the days when collecting license is a big challenge, today, that story have changed. Once a customer come to the FRSC office, he is accorded unfeigned respect by Oseni and the staff under his command, you are asked to sit in the cozy office that serves as reception and photo capturing room, in less than few minute when the network is okay, you are captured and given a temporal license with assurance that in less than two months time the original would be ready. True to this promise, before the expiration of the month you get an alert to come for your original license all due to the diligent and foresight of Oga Oseni as he is fondly called by staff and friends that come to obtain services from the commission.

The good interpersonal relationship between Oseni and his subject and the general public that comes to obtain services at his unit in Zone 7, Wuse beside NAFDAC office is a another story for another day. To us in the National Lifewatch Family, Soga Oseni is our Hero of the Moment of good service to Nation.
