The Wonders of Nigeria Erosion Watershed Management Project NEWMAP in Edo

THAT YE MAY KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION GOING ON AT THE GULLIES IN EDO STATE!!!

Glad that we are having some intervention now and the Gullies that have besieged Edo State are being addressed....

We must however let the facts be known!!

The construction work going on in Edo State at the Auchi,Ekenwan and Queen Ede Gully is a laudable intervention by the United Nations through her agency the Nigeria Erosion Watershed Management Project NEWMAP.

NEWMAP is saddled with the responsibility of tackling Erosion problems in Nigeria and the Agency is currently funding massive Ecological problems in Enugu,Abia,Edo,Cross River,AKWA Ibom and Anambra states.

We are glad that succour has come at such a time and we want state Government to give honour to where it is due. The idea of brandishing such projects as state Governments projects by Media aides to the Governor should be discouraged because the State Governments are only to supervise work going on in their respective states as their contribution to the project and are not responsible for funding them as being speculated on Social media..

National Lifewatch comments this efforts made by NEWMAP and also solicit their kind gesture to extend to Eguare and Ehanle in Ewu Kingdom in the same Edo State that gullible erosion have divided and made enemies.

The Social Economic baseline study for these projects where done in September of 2014 and one of our Brothers Mr Kliff Justice Amhans was a part of the team who did the survey...

This is not a PDP vs APC issue because the UN don't belong to any political party. The Projects are tackled now because tackling Ecological problems across the continent is segmented according to priority: Country by Country and now is the turn for Nigeria..

For more information, you can contact the NEWMAP office in Benin located at the last floor of the Storey building after the Palm house on Sapele road.or contact Mr Kliff Justice Amhans.
