The Adamawa State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Muhammadu Durumin Iya, has, affirmed that the Corps are
still part of the joint military force countering insurgence operations in Borno Northeast Nigeria, this is against the media speculation that the Corps has withdrawn from the battle front against dreaded force Boko Haram.
Going by the report reaching National Lifewatch from Borno State, our reporter authoritative affirmed that the men of NSCDC are still active in the forest with other military agencies combating the dreaded Boko Haram insurgences. Contrary to the speculation that NSCDC has deserted the battle zone.
He maintained that NSCDC remains an integral part of the ongoing success combate against insurgence in Nigeria.
To so many Nigerians who may not know the core operations of NSCDC this is the first time any Nigerian will be educated about the involvement of NSCDC in the battle front war against the insurgents in the most dreaded Sambisa forest.
Iya blames the ongoing speculations about the rumored withdrawal of the Corps from Sambisa forest on poor media sensitization on the operations of the Corps.
