Middle - Age Woman Kills Baby

The Police in Idanre, Ondo State, have arrested a middle-aged woman, Toyin Akinrosotu, for
allegedly causing the death of a young baby.

The baby was said to have fallen from her mother's back during a scuffle between the suspect and the late baby's mother.

While the remains of the deceased have since been deposited at Alade Idanre General Hospital mortuary in the town for postmortem examination, the
Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (CIID) of the Ondo State Police Command is currently probing the cause of the fight that led to the death of the young boy.

It was gathered that the suspect who lives at Awolata Street in Idanre, led some suspected thugs to the house of the mother of the deceased and reportedly beat her up, causing the baby to fall from his mother's back.
