When the word corruption is heard, what comes to mind is the giving and receiving of gratification of any sort. But, far deeper than this, the word connotes every form of perversion that distorts the normal order of due process. “The earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all fresh had corrupted his way upon the earth” (Gen. 6 11 & 12).
The above quote from the Great Book depict that the Creator Himself was first to frown at corruption. One could see that right from the beginning, corruption has being in existence which is largely as result of man fallen nature. This man’s fallen nature manifested itself in all forms of sexual perversion (incent, bestiality, homosexual and lesbianism) which formed the basis of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
“ for we will destroy this place (Sodom and Gomorrah) because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it… and it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain...” Gen. 19:13vs29. This scripture paints a picture of Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction occasioned by the corruption of that ancient world. The promotion of this form of corruption by any individual of nation it’s a direction fight against the author of the universe. And according to the psalmist if a man or nation is in a fight with another there can be an advocate but if it’s with the ALMIGTHY GOD- am afraid just as you are.
Barack Obama’s sudden metamorphosis as a global apostle of corruption or gay concept is a great mistake that has pitched him and America against their Maker, Who was once known as God’s own country but now pride herself as Satan’s own country by Her sudden perversion.. Could this extremism be as a result of America’s glory in terms of economic, political or technological knowhow in the global sphere? In Africa it’s believed that hungry breed’s humility while affluence breeds arrogance and pride. It is pitiful that America fortune in the world is leading her to her doom. In his books “The Audacity of Hope and Dreams from My Father” Obama paints a picture of a dismembered, a no body’s life and an obscured life that can only be assembled and showcase to limelight by it Maker. It’s unfortunate that this life now throws deadly salvos to his Helper as a thank you.
In every dispensation of human ‘existence, there has been a yearning for independence from the LORD’s control; first was Adam and Eve demand for freedom from God’s leadership in the Garden of Eden. Second vie of man to move from God’s lane was the nation of Israel when she demanded for a king in the person of Saul in these two incidents God allowed man’s will to prevail but at the end to his doom. America’s statue of liberty and her campaign of gay around the world is a representation of this same old concept of man’s freedom from the common Creator.
Though Africa leaders have made a mess of their positions to lead Africa aright they do not really understand why Obama is pushing gay rights to African countries? When he knows their real heartaches, I find it funny that Obama should subsume gay rights under human rights. His speeches in Kenya, his father’s ancestral country and Ethiopia, where he visited this week, are punctuated with allusions to human rights including those of men that love (marry) each other. Thank God that President Uhuru Kenyatta made him understand the futility of such exercise. I think by now, Obama should be abreast of the workings of African culture, especially as relates to family and the marriage institution. Africans do not believe in same-sex marriage.
If Obama really wants to help African people, there are many areas of intervention he can choose from and gay right is not one of them. Obama’s charge to Kenya and other African countries to eschew tribalism, curb corruption and fight terrorism is welcome. But, he also needs to be free from the corruption of procreation and depravity he is currently canvassing.
Instead of gay rights, our problem in Africa is how to advance in the field of technology, overcome poverty, disease, war and terrorism as well as corruption and bad government. This is where America can come in and assist us tremendously. We will be so glad to welcome assistance in these areas. America should assist us develop strong democratic institutions and anti-graft agencies, workable democracy across the continent. America can help us in agriculture, power and plenty industries that will employ our teeming jobless youths. These have been Africa perinea challenges and not addition same-sex as another problem.
If Africa leaders are standing on the grounds of culture to reject same sex- marriage, what then will the stand of the Creator of the whole universe be? We hope Obama’s white paper agreement to intervene in African’s problems would be actualize outside the gay concept, failure to implement the agreement reached, would be viewed as Obama taken his pound of flesh from Africa’s leaders refusal to honour his same- sex campaign. Besides, Africa leaders should look inward and utilize its human and natural resources develop effective leadership institutions to groom future leaders for the continent and a pan Africa partnership. We in National Lifewatch magazine and online reporters believed that Africa leaders demand for western assistance is as a result of inferiority complex. It is on record, that no Africa countries have benefit from America’s much talk about aid.
